Triggers and actions

What you can automate with Schedules & Webhooks

Every step Schedules & Webhooks adds to FlowWP, named and described as it appears in the editor, with the plan that includes it.

Triggers 3

Events in Schedules & Webhooks that can start a workflow.

  • A webhook is received

Runs when another system posts to this workflow’s own URL.

Actions 2

What a workflow can do in Schedules & Webhooks.

  • Respond to webhook

Send the caller of a webhook your own status and body — an ID, a result, a redirect — instead of "accepted".

Set it up

  1. 1Nothing to install: these steps ship with FlowWP.
  2. 2Add a webhook or schedule trigger to start a workflow, or an HTTP Request step to call any API.
  3. 3A webhook trigger has its own address: point another app or service at it.

What FlowWP sends

The HTTP Request step sends data to whatever address you give it. That address is yours, not ours, and FlowWP neither chooses it nor sees the response.

Nothing runs until you activate a workflow, and every run is recorded step by step.

Capture leads from any app with a webhook

Point Zapier, Make, a landing page or any other tool at this workflow’s webhook. Leads with an email are saved in FluentCRM, welcomed, and passed to your team.

Share new posts to Slack or Discord

Each published post is sent to a chat channel through an incoming webhook. If the channel refuses it, you get an email instead of silence. Works with Slack, Discord, Teams and anything else that takes JSON.

Wake someone up when the site goes down

Checks a page every fifteen minutes. The moment it answers with an error, Telegram reaches a phone and Slack tells the team — because email is the one place nobody looks at two in the morning.

Report a nightly job in one Discord message

Posts “running”, does the work, then edits that same message to say how it went — so the channel holds one line per night instead of two.
