What you can automate with Gravity Forms

Every step Gravity Forms adds to FlowWP, named and described as it appears in the editor, with the plan that includes it.

  • A Gravity Forms entry is marked as spam, trashed or restored

  • Create a Gravity Forms entry

Stores an entry without running the form’s validation, notifications or feeds. For importing what already happened; use Submit for what is happening now.

    • Entry ID
    • Form ID
  • Submit a Gravity Forms form

Puts values through the form as if somebody filled it in: validation, notifications and every feed the form has. Refuses the whole submission if a required field is missing, and says which.

  • Update a Gravity Forms entry

Other steps 1

Checks, lookups and helpers that shape the data in between.

  • Someone has already filled in a Gravity Forms form

Counts their entries for a form. Use the False branch for “has not yet” — a welcome that only goes once.

    • Entries they have

Set it up

  1. 1Install and activate Gravity Forms on your WordPress site.
  2. 2FlowWP finds it and adds its steps to the step library. If Gravity Forms is missing, FlowWP says so instead of hiding them.
  3. 3Pick a Gravity Forms step in any workflow. Every value it passes on is in the token picker.

Where it runs

Gravity Forms steps run inside WordPress, on your own server. FlowWP only contacts an outside service when you add a connection to one or use a step that needs it.

Nothing runs until you activate a workflow, and every run is recorded step by step.

Build your WordPress workflow visually.

Start with a template or a blank canvas. Nothing runs until you activate it.
