The problem

What is done by hand today

Entries land in an inbox. Someone reads each one, copies the details into the CRM, forwards it to whoever handles that kind of request and writes back to the sender. On a busy day some wait, and some are never answered.

How the workflow solves it

From the event to the result

  1. Trigger

    A form is submitted. FlowWP has a submission trigger for WPForms, Gravity Forms, Contact Form 7, Fluent Forms, Formidable Forms, Ninja Forms, Forminator and Elementor forms, and every answer becomes a token for the steps after it. The Formidable, Ninja Forms, Forminator and Elementor triggers are on every plan; WPForms and Contact Form 7 start on Personal, Gravity Forms and Fluent Forms on Business.

  2. Logic

    Only continue if stops entries that should go no further, such as those without an email address. Switch sends each kind of request down its own branch, by subject, budget or department (Personal and above).

  3. Actions

    Add or update the contact in FluentCRM or Groundhogg and tag it, email the person who handles that kind of request, post the entry to Slack, and send the sender a reply. Contact steps and Slack start on Personal; Send Email is on every plan.

  4. Result

    Every entry is saved, routed and answered the moment it arrives, and the run history shows what happened to each one.
